SoHo is the central hub in New York City for artists, designers, and hip young entrepreneurs. The streets of SoHo are bustling with shoppers, tourist, artists, influencers and regular everyday work folk.  There is no shortage of unique boutique and high-end fashion brands. SoHo is where some of the most intelligent and brightest people work. There is always something going on whether it be a pop-up art gallery, a movie filming or a music event to attend.  No doubt, NYC is known for all it’s restaurant options. Here is our list of the best brunch and lunch options in SoHo.

Lunch

If you’re craving an Italian sandwich this place will be right up your alley! Alidoro on Sullivan Street is the spot to grab the best sandwiches to go. These sandwiches are huge and tasty often filled with a combination of sun-dried tomatoes, prosciutto, and mozzarella. It’s a cash only spot though so make sure you grab some dough.

 Alidoro’s Enzo sandwich which has hot soppressata, fresh mozzarella, hot peppers, hot spread, red onion, and arugula. 

For a more healthier option, Smile to Go is your place! It’s a tiny space down on 22 Howard Street that you won’t miss because there’s always a line wrapped around during lunchtime. They have all kinds of delicious salads, marketplace vegetable dishes, soup, and pastries.  If you sit on one of the many stoops on Howard Street you won’t be disappointed by the people watching – you’ll see tons of fashion-forward SoHo locals that will get your creative juices flowing.  You might even catch a glimpse of a celebrity casually strolling through.

Looking for a juicy cheese burger then look no further than Blacktap Burger located at 529 Broome Street. On the menu is its extensive list of craft burgers ranging from a Pizza Burger filled with zesty tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and shaved parmesan to a Falafel Burger filled with falafel patty, tahini, pickled onion, greek feta, hummus, all the way to a Vegan Burger which has a black bean patty, vegan mayo, pickled onions, salsa verde and cilantro.

Blacktap burger is also known for its crazy shakes. Just looking at one of them is bound to mesmerize your eyes. 

Charlie Bird is your go-to spot for a fine dining lunch experience.  The restaurant staff will make you feel like you are the “guest of honor at a very hip party.”  The menu features market sourced Italian cuisine. If you’ve been looking for a lunch spot to close the deal and impress then this is it.

Brunch

It’s the weekend and you’ve had a long week at work. You want to do what we all want to do. Eat some food, have some mimosas and enjoy the company of your friends.  David Burke Kitchen located at 23 Grand Street which has been in Zagat’s top 100 restaurants list is the place to go for a great brunch.
